I've been feeling the same with my own blog. Seems people go through active and passive stages with blogs. Whatever happens, and I do hope you keep it going, don't delete it because there is so much good material on here. I would say that it is worth just having the blog there if only for the occasional short posts unless you feel it is weighing you down.
Well your "working notes" have been amazing for me. I have followed for a while but only recently signed up for an account. The Sartre find: 'Intentionality: A fundamental idea in Husserl's phenomenology' was so amazing. I was wondering, how familiar are you with Baudrillard?
Why Mike? (if you don't mind me asking?) I'm pretty sure there are many of us out here who find great benefit in your thinking-out of so many issues...
I saw this last week and said "Oh dear!" aloud, but I didn't know if engaging in public groveling and advising was really advisable. Anyhow, I just had to come back and say I'm with the other folks in hoping you keep on blogging in some capacity, i.e. your Latour group. But I also think that if "Working Notes" has served its purpose while you were in the working notes stage of your studies, and if are ready for a new challenge, you shouldn't be afraid to move on, no matter how much we grovel.
Well I really hope you leave this material up in some format for those of us who appreciate your archive of insights and reading suggestions! Even if you have to put a big silly disclaimer on it: "I write way better now, about way cooler stuff... but you can read this if you want." Ha. I don't know if that's quite what you're thinking, but I'm guessing you are moving onto bigger things and that's the reason for wrapping up the "Notes."
Save it carefully, in case one day some scholar of Johnduff wants to publish the "early writings"(there'll be volumes!).

Any particular reason?
And you'll be missed.
